Position Title:                                 

Multimedia Executive

Reporting Structure:                                                                     

This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Partnership Engagement

Key Working Relations:                                        _                                            

Internal:  Trainees, Trainers, and all KOTO staff

External:  Service providers and community service partners.

Responsibilities:

Multimedia Executive will carry and perform the following responsibilities:

 

Multimedia Design

  • Create a coordinated look and feel for the graphic design elements across all KOTO marketing and event collateral and activities in a timely manner to communicate the KOTO mission and philosophy that inspires, informs, and captivates prospective and our current supporters.

  • Create powerful visual graphics to illustrate KOTO activities for use in various digital channels, Newsletter, our fundraising activities as well as informing our key partners and recruiting trainees

  • Create a workable and simple product to keep trainee sponsors updated with interesting content that is user-friendly, interactive, effective and appealing and can be easily replicated by other MPE staff after the assignment is complete.

  • Review current trainee sponsorship program communication and objectives to create simple,  effective and appealling multimedia solutions which staff can use to illustrate the holistic KOTO training program to potential and existing partners, donors and trainee sponsors

  • Others tasks assigned by Head, MPE

 

Web

  • Assess the  current KOTO website and suggest improvements in style and functionality based on KOTO strategic objectives

  • Review current practices and recommend latest trends in capturing donations and trainee sponsors to KOTO via our website

  • Create a webpage (both front-end and back-end) with an integrated but targeted campaign to raise funds for the Training Centre Kitchen upgrade including a transparent listing of recent donors and fundraising tracking mechanisms.

  • Strengthen the capacity of local staff in creating new pages, refresh existing pages and understand functionality issues

  • Provide recommendations for ongoing improvements to website functionality which can be implemented after the assignment has been completed.

  • Create video clips for use on the KOTO website and social media channels to best illustrate the holistic training program

  • Develop video content of alumni  for use in showcasing the outcomes of KOTO training over the last twenty years

 

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Adept with Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud 5, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Report writing and analysis skills.

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently but also excellent teamwork skills

  • Project management.

  • Ability to provide a high level of communication with the media, partners, donors and sponsors.

  • High level of time management and task-prioritising skills.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A degree in graphic design or multimedia design or a related field, as well as experience working with Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud 5, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Minimum three years’ experience in graphic design for print, digital and web platforms, particularly with a NGO or social enterprise.

  • Ideally, we seek someone with both front-end and back-end experience in website development and website functionality

  • Experience in integrating website and social media platforms

  • Experience in the design and navigability to enhance our ability to better showcase the stories of our alumni and trainees, thereby articulating what makes KOTO different and so strong in empowering and transforming the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Vietnam for twenty years

  • Experience in search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques would be ideal

  • Experience with creating and editing video content for use on social media, websites and targeted fundraising and sponsorship activities   

 

Well-developed technical skills in the following areas:

  • IT Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud 5, Photoshop and Illustrator)

  • Web update skills (Wix in particular)

  • Videographer/Photographer

  • Well-developed communication skills (written and oral) in both Vietnamese and English
