ASSET-H&C

KOTO is one of the 14 member schools across five countries in the regional network, ASSET-H&C - The Association of Southeast-Asian Social Enterprises for Training in Hospitality and Catering -  created by IECD to bring together tourism and hospitality vocational training centres across Southeast Asia.

 

ASSET-H&C’s mission is to facilitate experience and expertise exchanges between members; to champion them before hospitality professionals and public authorities and to help them build solid and sustainable foundations for the long-term.

 

ASSET H&C, has been awarded the prestigious 2019 PATA Grand Award for Education and Training. This validates the work of the 14 members in providing disadvantaged and at-risk youth across the 5 South East Asian countries with vocational education and training and professional skills for the tourism and hospitality industry. Together, we train close to 2500 students every year across 5 countries. 

British Council

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council aims to make a positive contribution to the UK and the countries they work with – changing lives by creating opportunities, building connections and engendering trust. Through their Social Enterprise programme, the British Council aims to contribute to inclusive economic growth in Vietnam. 

KOTO, together with the support of the British Council, promotes the development of social enterprise as a means of addressing entrenched social and environmental problems and delivering positive change to  communities and societies in Vietnam.

CSIP

CSIP Established in 2008, the Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) is a leading Vietnam-based, non-governmental and non-for-profit organization working to promote the development of social enterprises and social initiatives by building a social entrepreneurship movement in Vietnam and in the SE Asian region. Mr. Jimmy Pham is a CSIP Board Member and CSIP and KOTO maintain a close relationship in promoting the benefits of social enterprise in Vietnam and the region.

Deloitte

In 2018, Deloitte Vietnam committed to providing their auditing services to KOTO for 3 years. In Vietnam, Deloitte delivers value-added services including Tax, Financial Advisory, Enterprise Risk Management, Consulting, Audit and Professional Training. Striving for the standard of excellence by being always one step ahead, Deloitte Vietnam is dedicated to providing superior client service with professional objectivity and to working diligently to preserve the trust of clients. GroupM

KOTO and GroupM, the leading global media investment management company for WPP's media agencies, have worked together since 2013, when GroupM made a 75 million VND donation to support our training program
 
KOTO and GroupM developed a joint initiative - the Mcafe - a relaxed venue supporting a great cause which can be found in the Bitexco Tower in HCMC.

IDP

Established in 1995, IDP Vietnam are the global leaders in connecting international students to study success. In 2016, IDP invited KOTO Founder Mr Jimmy Pham and KOTO graduate, Ms Huong Dang, to present at the Australian International Education Conference. In 2017, IDP agreed to sponsor two KOTO trainees.

We are delighted to have Australian-based Vietnamese food franchise, Roll’d Vietnamese, sponsoring over 20 trainees at KOTO since 2018.

The founder of Roll’d, Bao Hoang's family escaped Vietnam by boat with nothing besides the traditional recipes which Hoang has used to create the Vietnamese food franchise menu at Roll’d. Many of our trainees aspire to be as successful as Bao Hoang!  

Shared Tables

In 2005 and 2017, Shared Tables chose KOTO as one of their destinations in Vietnam for their study tour. Shared Tables groups have visited KOTO, dined at our restaurant and participated in a number of fundraising activities.
 
In September 2017, Shared Tables has organized KOTO ONE fundraiser in Melbourne to raise funds for KOTO Vietnam and chose KOTO to be one of its charity partner in which they donated part of their event’s revenue to KOTO.
 
During 2018, Shared Tables has provided tremendous support to KOTO by organizing work placement opportunities for 10 KOTO alumni for our inaugural overseas study tour to Melbourne Australia.

Unilever

The U&I Juice Bar is a joint initiative between Unilever and KOTO. Located in the Unilever cafeteria, it is a trendy venue where Unilever employees can relax, while supporting a great cause and learning more about KOTO.
