2015 marks the 14th KOTO Dream Ride, an annual fundraising event where all proceeds will be used to support the continued work of providing hopes and brighter future for at-risk and disadvantaged youth by raising money to support the KOTO not-for-profit vocational training program.
Growing from 30 riders in 2002 to over 100 riders mainly through word of mouth, the Dream Ride has raised over US$250,000 over the last 14 years.
This year we aim to attract 200 hundred bikers to help us fundraise, to bring awareness and attention to the wonderful work that is being carried out at our training center. We hope to raise US $50,000, which will be used specifically to cover the annual rental cost of training centers and housing for 200 trainees.
On Sunday, November 15, KOTO Dream Ride bikers will go out on a loop ride starting at the United Nations International School (UNIS) to Chua ThayPagoda and back. This fun bike ride challenge of about 65 km will take cyclists through some beautiful countryside, pagodas and rice fields around Hanoi.
