If you know one you should teach one

If you know one you should teach one

“KOTO stands for Know One, Teach One and reflects our belief that if you're in a position where you can help someone less fortunate, then you should help them and the greatest thanks you can receive is to one day see that person be in a position to do the same for someone else.” Jimmy Pham – KOTO Founder & Global Ambassador

This module provides trainees with the basic knowledge and skills to support them in the process of working and dealing with colleagues and the people in their lives and creating good relationships.

Main topics to learn:

1. Course Description:
The life skills course provides knowledge that can be applied to their work and life even after graduation. Participants participate in the 24-month course including theory and practice. At the same time, there are extracurricular activities, or participation in outdoor events to enhance confidence and openness. The purpose of the Life Skills course is to provide opportunities for trainees to broaden their horizons in order to enhance their understanding of society and to become socially useful and ethical.

2. Objectives:
Learners become more active, confident, with greater awareness of societal attitudes and behaviours, enabling improved relationships with colleagues and people around them. Make the learners’ perceptions change in a positive way.

3. Hours:
Within 24 months, trainees will have 144 hours for Life Skills. Of those, they will learn 94 hours directly with our life skills teacher and 20 hours with guest speakers. In addition, the trainees will have to complete a Green Project consisting of 12 periods. The trainees will also participate in extracurricular activities and KOTO events, as part of the holistic training approach.
