NOT just a “Day of Dance”

We would like to say a BIG thank you and congratulations to Dancenter for organizing the Day of Dance fundraiser for KOTO last Sunday (29th November). It was a fantastic community event. The event had a vibrant yet warm atmosphere with a true sense of community spirit. Everyone who came enjoyed themselves and generously gave to the KOTO program to help change the lives of street and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam.

Dancenter raised 8,740,000 vnd on the day from selling t-shirts, food & drinks, general donations and the silent auctions. This was a super effort from the team and this money comes at a very significant time as we are preparing for the 25 trainees who are about to start the program in early January.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone involved on the day for all your hard work:

A big thank you to Ms Linh Rateau and Tessa Findlay for organizing the event and supporting KOTO.
To the teachers: John, Rosie and Sandrine for donating your time and energy towards the dance classes.
To all Dancenter staff and volunteers (Phuong, Hung, Minh, Sang, Nhat, Ty, Nguyet & Thang) for your efforts.
To Harvest Bakery for donating half of the cakes & cookies for sale on the day, thank you so much for your support.
To the UDG volunteers and dancers for your efforts
To Philip for taking photos on the day and
Special thanks to Xuan for your organization and juggling act.

Last but not least, thank you to all the family and friends who came and generously donated to our cause.
