On Saturday, March 27, 2010 a very unique dinner was organized at KOTO Café Hideaway. It was a dual special occasion to celebrate Earth Hour as well as the launch of Come Together!, a communications initiative for youth development.
Dinner was served at 8.30 when the electric lights were switched off and solar-charged lights were switched on. The theme of the evening was even reflected in the locally grown and wholly organic four-course meal designed exclusively for the occasion by Nissan Dray, Executive Chef and Food Design Manager of KOTO. The free-range chicken from Bac Giang Provine was kindly supported by Naturally Vietnam and Dr. Patrice Gautier, Co-Director of ASVELIS; Tea and coffee by Fair Trade, an organic local coffee grown in the Highlands; Organic fruits and vegetables were from the Dalat area.
The British and Irish Ambassadors attended the dinner along with personnel from WWF and other INGOs. Everyone highly appreciated the food as well as the serene ambiance. It was the most ecological meal, with the lowest carbon footprint, that anyone had ever had.

The Earth Hour dinner, organized by Come Together! in collaboration with WWF, was an example of Come Together!’s signature out-of-the-box approach. Climate change is on top of the agenda for Come Together! and, in the days to come, the Initiative will launch various projects aimed at changing current youth lifestyles to ecological 'green' lifestyles.
Come Together! is led by a group of young Vietnamese media professionals in partnership with a youth NGO, Hands in Hands. It aims to create a platform where the youth of Vietnam can come together and utilize imagination, creativity and collaboration to bring about social change.
